Betting Market
Cards Betting Explained
Bet on bookings in a match through total cards lines, booking points or player-specific card markets.
How this market works
Cards markets are settled either by a count of cards or by booking points, where a yellow and a red carry different values. Always check which method applies before placing the bet, because the two settle very differently in a match with a sending off.
The referee is the biggest single variable. Some officials card early and often, others manage matches with warnings. Beyond that, derby fixtures, relegation six-pointers and competitions with a physical reputation such as Copa America and the Turkish Super Lig run well above average.
How cards markets are priced
- Over 4.5 total cards at 1.90
- Booking points: yellow = 10, red = 25 in many settlement rules
- Derby fixtures routinely price a full card higher than a mid-table game
Best used for
- Derbies and rivalry matches
- Physical leagues and tournaments
- High-stakes relegation fixtures
Watch out
Settlement rules vary between operators and markets. A second yellow leading to a red is not always counted the way you assume.
